I am a graduate of the University of Florida where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 1996. I completed my graduate degree in 1999 at the University of Georgia in a competitive master's counseling program that accepted roughly twelve candidates per year out of hundreds of applicants. I have completed additional training in trauma counseling, somatic counseling, EMDR, Brainspotting, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), alcohol and drug counseling, cognitive behavioral therapy, grief counseling, treating adult daughters of narcissistic mothers, and the treatment of perinatal and postpartum disorders.

Additionally, I have over twenty five years of post-graduate experience working in community counseling centers, renowned alcohol & drug treatment centers, hospice organizations, as well as my work in my private practices in Atlanta, North Palm Beach, FL, and online with teletherapy.
